It’s not as if time can be gained or lost. The Earth’s rotation on its axis and its orbit around the sun are nearly fixed constants, certainly from the perspective of human history. The passage of time is relentless.
On the other hand the use of time, we’ll, that’s another matter altogether. “Time lost” is that Sensation that great progress or achievement could have been made, but the commitment of coordinated effort, focused resources, directed towards a common goal was inadequate.
Prioritized focus, planning, and follow-through make benefit of the non-renewable resource of time, but are no guarantee that things will turn out the way we want.
The true Fulfillment to be had in looking back on achievement reflects the joy of working together as a team towards a common goal putting talent in play and the hope of doing something like it again.
Step up with what you’ve got to fulfill your mission, today.

footnote. Who knew that in Michigan, Massachusetts, Illinois, Maryland, and Colorado, over the last 5 years, an average of 3,000 people died every week? Wow! In the city of New York, and the State of New York (excluding NYC), 6,000 people died every week. These baseline statistics set the baseline for determining increased deaths since the COVID-19 pandemic as a near doubling ; not all the increased deaths are COVID-19 victims (hotlink).
